Galway City Harriers Athletics Club, in association with Campion Insurance (part of the PIB Group), have announced the hosting of their annual Resolution Run on New Year's Day next.
The 5km race route passes most of the city’s famous landmarks through the historical City Centre, from The Claddagh, passing Wolfe Tone Bridge, Merchants Road and the Docks, doubling back out to Grattan Road and The Salthill Promenade before a fast finish along South Park into the finish at Nimmo’s Pier, where GCH hospitality and refreshments await. The event will be organised by an expert crew of volunteers and marshals.
Age category prizes are available, and there is a superb souvenir Resolution Run bobble cap gift for all entrants.
Race HQ is at the Claddagh Hall, Nimmo’s Pier, Galway (H91 A6Y6). The race starts promptly at 10.15 am on 1st January.
The race is AAI certified & is open to everyone 16 years and older.
