In Senior A, the top 2 teams go to the Quarter Finals with the third and fourth teams going to the Preliminary Quarter Finals. Turloughmore, St Thomas & Liam Mellows have all qualified for the knockout stages, with the final round of games in two weeks deciding which of the two go straight to the Quarter Finals and which team goes to the Preliminary Quarter final. The other Preliminary Quarter Final place from this group will be decided in the final round also.

In the Senior A Hurling Championship Group 2, Loughrea and Sarsfields have qualified for the Quarter Finals with a game to spare. Cappataggle are into the Preliminary Quarter Finals with the final Preliminary Quarter-Final place to be decided by the final round game between Gort and Tynagh Abbey Duniry. In Senior A, the teams that finish 5th and 6th in both Groups will cross-play with the two losers being relegated to Senior B for 2020.

In the Senior B hurling championship Group 1, Oranmore/Maree will finish in the top 3. The winner of the Group goes to the Preliminary Quarter Final as well as securing Senior A hurling in 2020. The final round of games will determine the final standings. The teams finishing in second and third will cross play with the second and third teams in Group 2, with the 2 winners into the Preliminary Quarter Finals. The bottom teams in Groups 1 & 2 of the Senior B will meet with the loser being relegated to Intermediate.

In Group 2 of the Senior B Hurling Championship, Clarinbridgehave topped the Group with a game to spare and are into the Preliminary Quarter Finals. They will also play Senior A hurling in 2020. Killimordaly will finish second in the Group and will thus enter the second v third play-off. Who will finish third (will enter the second v third play-off) and the relegation place will be decided by the final round games.
