The 2026 Women's All-Island Cup comes to a conclusion on Saturday evening (18th July 2026) as Shelbourne host Galway United at Tolka Park.
Galway United have gone unbeaten through the competition, winning Group B ahead of a 3-2 quarter-final win over Linfield, which was settled by Emma Doherty's stoppage-time winner, and a semi-final victory over Peamount United on penalties after Anna McGough's 92nd-minute equaliser forced a shootout.
Phil Trill's side have made a habit of late drama, and of shootouts. Galway United have won all four penalty shootouts they have contested in the competition's history, including the 2024 Final against Shamrock Rovers.
Galway United defender Eve Dossen and Shelbourne midfielder Aoife Kelly have both made 20 Women’s All-Island Cup appearances, leading the way.

It is a first Women’s All-Island Cup Final for Shelbourne who fell at the semi-final stage in each of the last two editions, including a penalty shootout defeat to Bohemians in 2025.
Galway United, who are winners of the first two editions in 2023 and 2024, are appearing in their third final in four years and are yet to lose one.
Seán Russell's side arrive in strong form, the Reds have scored 19 goals in five matches in this year's competition, topping Group D before a 3-1 quarter-final win over Cliftonville and an emphatic 4-0 semi-final win over Bohemians at Tolka Park.
Becky Watkins has been central to that run, the forward has scored six goals in this season's competition, including a brace in the semi-final, while Aoibheann Clancy has added three with two of them coming in the quarter-final win over Cliftonville.
