Galway Utd drawn at home to Shamrock Rovers in FAI Cup

Galway United have been rewarded with a home tie against Shamrock Rovers in the quarter-finals of the FAI Cup. Alan Murphy's side beat Cork City 1-0 on Friday night to book their place in this morning's draw and another home tie is sure to draw a bumper crowd to Eamon Deacy Park the weekend after next.

Elsewhere, Waterford FC will play defending champions Dundalk, Sligo Rovers will take on UCD at The Showgrounds and non-league Crumlin United are set to play Dublin opposition in Bohemians.

The ties will be played on the weekend of September 6th/7th/8th.
