Glenamaddy Community School have defended their FAI Schools Junior B Girls National Cup title with a stunning 7-2 win over St Peter’s Passagewest this afternoon in Ballingarry.
Glen led 4-1 at the break with goals from Beth O’Mahony, Lauren Davis, Ruby McGuire and a penalty from Ali O’Toole and in the second half, McGuire scored two more to complete her hat trick while Grace Halvey headed home to complete their scoring.
St Peter’s goals came from Ida Bandos and Lexie O’Riordan.
The Glenamaddy Management team were John Kennedy, Gerry Davis and Ellie McDermott.

After the game, John Kennedy told John Mulligan that it was their best performance in a long time.
