Caltra Cuans were defeated by Knockbride in the All-Ireland Intermediate Final on Saturday afternoon on a scoreline of 3-10 to 0-4.
Despite a positive start, a Knockbride penalty changed the game completely, and from there the Cavan outfit thoroughly dominated proceedings. Caltra Cuans trailed by 2-3 to 0-0 at the break, and the Ulster champions never looked back, scoring another 1-7 in the second half to confirm their status as All-Ireland Intermediate Champions. Caltra Cuans did restore some pride, tagging over four second-half points.
