Following a three-year run, the last Forvis Mazars Senior B hurling final, for now, takes place this Sunday (19th October 2025) when Liam Mellows meet Ahascragh-Fohenagh.
Not just is the opportunity to join Mullagh and Athenry as recipients of the Daniel Reeves trophy at stake. However, with the restructuring of next year's Galway calendar, both clubs are also playing for their senior status. The winners will join the race for the Tom Callanan Cup in 2026; the losers enter the new Premier intermediate competition.
Leading up to the game, Liam Mellows manager David Collins has been chatting to Galway Bay FM's Sean Walsh.
Ahascragh-Fohenagh are unbeaten as they become the only club to play in two Senior B deciders. Their boss Jimmy Browne caught up with Galway Bay FM's Niall Canavan.
Throw-in at Kenny Park on Sunday is 1.45pm and we'll have LIVE coverage here on Galway Bay FM. The game will be preceded by the intermediate semi-final between Kinvara and Beagh at 12pm.
