Teams Announced For Athletics Ireland National League In Tullamore

The Galway County Men’s and Women and Galway City Harriers teams for the upcoming Athletics Ireland National League in Tullamore on Saturday have been named.

In the county competition, Galway County men’s team features sixteen athletes from five clubs across the county, and the Galway County ladies team will feature seventeen athletes from seven clubs.

The Galway County Ladies team is as follows. From Caltra and District, Anna Donoghue, from Craughwell, Emma O'Donovan, Helena O'Keeffe, Lauren Kilduff, Leanagh Gilligan and Sinead Treacy. From Galway City Harriers, Elisa Jaime Stapleton, Laura Ann Costello, Nicole Quirke and Nicole Walsh. From Loughrea, Aoibhin Farrell and Mary Barrett. From South galway, Ellen Bermingham. From Tuam, Danielle Moynihan and Holly Shaughnessy and from West Coast Izzy Kelly and Margaret Nnadi.

The Galway County Men’s team are from West Coast, Abaas Adam Edris, Brian Fallon, Francis McCarthy, Jayden Montes, John McGrath, John McDermott, Joseph Connorm Kamsi Okepegbuo and Reakwon Lucciano. From Craughwell, Justin Lane, Luke O'Sullivan and Martin Curley, From Loughrea, Anthony Ochana Dolan, from Athenry Liam Shaw and Rian Collins and from South Galway Luke Walsh.

It has also been announced this afternoon that KPMG will once again sponsor the Galway County Teams.

Galway City Harriers have named 12 athletes for the club competition. They are Adam Tighe, Shane McGovern, Hugo Lynagh, Sean Danker, Barry Murphy, David Carter, Adill Prochownik, Justin McCarthy, Luke Spence, Majus Ogulevicius, Pierce Hopwood and Eoin Daly.

All three teams are bidding to reach the finals on the 9th of August in Santry.
