Tuam Stars successfully retained their 3Dental Division 1 Football League crown following a 2-12 to 1-14 victory after extra-time against Corofin in Tuam Stadium on Friday (3rd July 2026).
Conor Doherty's early goal gave the men in red the initative and they lead by one poin at half-time but it finished all square at 1-10 to 0-13 when the 60 minutes concluded. Brian Mannion's goal just before the change of ends in extra-time secured a lead they never relinquished despite Killian Joyce pulling back a Corofin goal with the final attack.
Afterwards, Tuam Stars man of the match Conor Heneghan chatted to Galway Bay FM's Kevin O'Dwyer.
