A new operator has been found for the Ballina-Galway Route 52 service.
In March, Bus Eireann announced the Expressway route would cease due to sustained losses.
A Public Service Obligation contract was then put in place for the service - and it's now been picked up by private operator Citylink.
Galway East Sinn Fein TD Louis O' Hara says this is welcome news - but there is still a considerable reduction in services which is far less welcome.
