48 hours of planned strike action by perfusionists, including the team at UHG, has been called off for next week.
The cardiovascular specialists took industrial action on Tuesday, resulting in some surgeries being cancelled across five hospitals.
Similar action planned for next Wednesday and Thursday has now been 'paused,' following talks between the HSE and Forsa trade union this morning.
Forsa National Secretary Linda Kelly, says the issue will be discussed again as part of public sector pay talks.
