Galway Bay fm newsroom - Funding of 6 million euro has been sanctioned for major projects in Galway under the Urban Regeneration Scheme.
2.7 million euro has been allocated for the Martin roundabout at the end of M6 motorway.
A further 2.9 million euro will be spent on improvements to the city's walking and cycling infrastructure.
