There's been a mixed bag in relation to unemployment levels across the city and county in the past month.
Overall, there are 25 more people on the Live Register across Galway, but levels vary across the county.
There are now 7,619 people unemployed across Galway.
The city saw the biggest increase in unemployment levels, with 80 people being added to the Live Register in May, bringing the total to 4,141.
Gort also experience an increase in the Live Register numbers - 30 people were added, bringing the figure to 518.
Tuam has been in and around the 1,000 mark on the register since the start of the year, but dropped just below that to 974 in May.
A similar drop was seen in Clifden, with 32 people leaving the Live Register, and the total there now 373.
Loughrea's unemployment levels also fell last month - with 20 people leaving the register and the total now 712.
And finally, Ballinasloe's figure is very similar to last month and the start of the year - at 901.
