Bill Mulrow donated a new outdoor classroom at Clonbur National School - where his parents first met almost 100 years ago.
Michael and Ellen Mulrow attended the school in the 1920's before emigrating to New York in search of opportunity.
Bill Mulrow was secretary to New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, and a senior advisor at Blockstone, one of the world's leading investment firms.
A special ceremony to dedicate the new classroom will take place on Wednesday.
