650 volunteers from 35 groups have removed an estimated 3.8 Tonnes of litter from various locations during the Galway Beach Clean over the last few days

Kinvara Earthkeepers community and families took on a litter pick at Tracht beach where marine green rope and dog poo bags topped the removals

Nationally, an estimated 60 tonnes of marine litter was removed from Ireland’s coastline this past weekend as part of the An Taisce Clean Coasts event
