A woman has died in a road collision in Co. Galway.
The single vehicle crash happened in Eyrecourt at around 8 o'clock last night.
A woman in her 80's who was the driver and sole occupant of the car was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her body has now been taken to Portiuncula Hospital where a post mortem will be carried out.

Gardai are asking for anyone who was travelling in the area between 7:30pm and 8:30pm and who may have dash-cam footage to contact Loughrea Garda Station.
