Events are taking place across Galway city and County over the next few days as part of Local Enterprise Week
The week aims to prioritize AI, the digital future and female empowerment.
The first event is underway at the Portershed, and is focusing on moving beyond stereotypes in the workplace.
It will provide practical ways to bridge generation gaps and create teams that work better together.
Tomorrow, a workshop has been designed to help small business owners use AI in ways that are realistic and useful.
It will continue online for a further two sessions.
On Thursday a workshop on how to strengthen and prepare businesses for AI will take place at the BIA innovator Campus in Athenry from 10am to 2pm
On Friday at Tuam's Ard Ri Hotel from 9.30am to 2pm attendees will learn from IBEC's Danny McCoy about the power of digital innovations and the business capabilities of websites like ChatGpt and Google.
Also on Friday an event in the Salthill Hotel called "Women Empowering Women" will take place from 9.30am
It will mark International Women's day on Sunday and will feature Ruth Mackey of MBRYONICS as guest speaker.
