Almost 500 start ups registered in Galway in first half of this year

Galway Bay fm newsroom - 482 new companies were registered in Galway in the first half of the year.

According to Vision-net’s latest half-year figures, over 12 thousand companies were formed in the six month period, or 67 every day.

Dublin recorded the highest number of start-ups in the period, accounting for almost 50% of the total number established.

Cork followed with over 11 hundred and Galway was ranked third with 482.
