A sacred icon has been gifted to Kylemore Abbey by descendants of Princess Grace of Monaco.
The Synaxis of the Holy Apostles was blessed by Fr Tony King during the Abbeys midday mass.
The icon is painted in egg tempera using natural pigments and finished with 23 karat gold.
Susan Kelly von Medicus, an accomplished iconographer and descendant of Princess Grace of Monaco, donated the work.
