An appeal's been lodged with An Coimisiún Pleanála over the refusal of a housing estate in Athenry.
Bellerin 3A Ltd was refused permission last month for 61 new homes at a site at Prospect on the southwest side of the town.
County planners held the project did not demonstrate acceptable connectivity with the wider urban pedestrian and cycling network.
An appeal's now been lodged with the higher planning authority, with a decision expected later this year.
