Approval has been given for new apartment blocks in Knocknacarra.
Highcross Developments Limited plans to build two blocks up to 6 stories in height at a site opposite the Clybaun Hotel.
It'd offer 40 apartments in total, mostly two and three bed units.
Other elements of the project include a public open space with playground, seat, and table tennis area.

There were a significant number of local objections to the plans, which have now been approved with routine conditions.
