Galway Bay fm newsroom - Arrabawn Co-Op is hoping to build a new store building in Athenry.
The Co-Op has applied for planning permission to build the new Co-op Store with a weighbridge and parking at Ballydavid.
It'll involve an entrance for vehicles from the Monivea Road.
A decision is due from county planners in September.
