The long-awaited extension to Brownsgrove National School in North Galway has been officially opened
The opening ceremony for the new classroom was attended by 100 local people along with local TDs Albert Dolan and Louis O'Hara, Galway County Councillor Ollie Turner and Galway footballer Shane McGrath
The occasion was marked with Mass and a blessing by Fr Mark Quinn
Principal Patricia Boyle says the school has a proud history and pupil growth and are looking forward to welcoming new families
