Turnout in the Galway West by-election is being reported as slow in many parts of the city and county.
It's between three and five percent across all polling centres since voting began at 7 this morning.
Turnout is at three percent in Clifden, Spiddal, Salthill, Renmore, Carraroe, Doughiska, Bushypark, Ballybane and Tirellen.
It's at four percent in Oranmore, Knocknacarra and Claregalway, while there's a five percent voter turnout in Moycullen, Westside and the Aran Islands.
The polls are open until 10 tonight
