Production of high-level rural drama gives major economic boost to Connemara

Landlines, a rural drama about family inheritance has gone into production in Connemara and is expected to provide a major economic boost to the area

It's an Irish-UK-Belgian production by Black Gate Productions in partnership with Forty Foot Pictures & Wrong Men Films.

The lead cast, announced today, comprises Dónall Ó Héalaí from Arracht, Moe Dunford from The Dry, Danielle Galligan from House of Guinness and Olwen Fouéré from The Northman

The Connemara production is supported by Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland, TPC and The Post Republic UK and is planned for release next year
