Galway Bay fm newsroom - Emergency services have been forced to close the Barna to Moycullen road again as a gorse fire has reignited in the Truskey West area.
Three units of the fire brigade have returned to the fire this afternoon following a flare-up in two locations.
Fire crews have been monitoring the scene since yesterday afternoon with large smoke volumes still affecting nearby residential areas.
However, emergency services say there is no current threat to commercial property or residential areas.

Motorists are again advised to avoid the area if possible.
