Book of Condolence to open in Galway for singer Dolores Keane

A Book of Condolence will open at the offices of Galway County Council in Áras an Chontae, Prospect Hill, tomorrow following the death of renowned folk singer Dolores Keane.

Ms Keane, who was 72 and a native of Caherlistrane, County Galway, was regarded as one of the most influential voices in Irish traditional and folk music.

Cathaoirleach of Galway County Council, Councillor David Collins, will open the book at 12 noon, which will be available for signing during normal office hours in the coming days.
