A burst water main has cut supply to Athenry and a large number of surrounding areas
Uisce Éireann is working to restore supply to homes and businesses following the significant burst on the Monivea Road in the town.
Customers in Carnmore West, Cashla, Moorpark, Grange, Cartymore, Castle Ellen, Castelambert, and surrounding areas will experience low water pressure or outages today as a result of this burst.
A repair crew is being deployed, and repairs are expected to be complete late this evening.
