Call for action after Clifden area left without overnight ambulance crew

Clifden has gone without an overnight ambulance crew several times in recent weeks.

That's according to Fine Gael Councillor Eileen Mannion, who says it's not acceptable and the area deserves better.

Councillor Mannion says Clifden is too far away to be relying on a city crew to come out to the area.

She is calling on the National Ambulance Service to rectify the situation with a solution that will last:
