Calls to Galway Threshold rise by over a third in November

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Calls to Threshold in Galway rose by more than a third in November.

Threshold's Galway office took nearly 2,000 calls last month from the western region, an increase of over a third compared to October.

More than 100 of the people who called were at risk of losing their homes.

Nationally Threshold took over seven and a half thousand calls last month.

Regional Services Manager with Threshold, Diarmuid O'Sullivan says the increase in demand for Threshold's services is worrying.
