A new campaign is pleading for motorists to slow down on busy streets in the city's West End.
It's as streets in the wider area are now pedestrianised after 6pm, to support outdoor dining, cultural activity, and active travel.
But there are concerns that it's leading to some drivers using Father Griffin Place and Munster Avenue as shortcuts - and speeding while doing so.
They're now being reminded that it's a thriving neighbourhood, where people live, children walk to school and play, and families use the street daily.
The joint-initiative is between residents, local businesses, Galway City Council, Gardaí and Claddagh National School.
