Car stolen from Galway city garage forecourt as owner put air into tyres

Gardaí are investigating the theft of a BMW car from a garage forecourt in the city as the owner was about to put air into the tyres.

The incident occurred at approximately 9 on Sunday night at Circle K in Bohermore.

The driver parked the car in order to put air into the tyres when a man entered it and drove off in the direction of Sandy Road.

The vehicle is a black BMW 316 saloon, registration number 141 D 25588.
