Galway Bay fm newsroom - There are calls for a new system to be put in place to warn tourists about incoming storms which are due to hit Galway.
It's after groups of tourists remained outdoors or near waterways in the city yesterday despite weather warnings.
City CEO Brendan McGrath says a system could be put in place which would allow the council to liase with accommodation providers to warn tourists of weather alerts
