City Michelin star restaurant named Best Restaurant in Ireland

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Loam in the city has been named Ireland's best restaurant at the 2019 Irish Restaurant Awards.

The Michelin star restaurant at Fairgreen Road was joined in the winners circle at an awards ceremony in Dublin by Graham Neville of Dax Restaurant in Dublin who won Best Chef.

Best pub went to Doheny and Nesbitt, also in Dublin.

West Restaurant at The Twelve Hotel in Barna was named the Best Hotel and Guesthouse Restaurant in Connacht while Best Customer Service in Connacht went to Park House Hotel in the city.

Le Petit Pois just off Eyre Square won the award for Best Wine Experience in Connacht while Connemara Greenway café and restaurant was named Best Café in the west.
