Galway Bay fm newsroom - A road in the city centre will close to traffic this evening to facilitate the installation of Christmas lights.
Cross Street Lower and Upper, from Middle Street to Bridge Street, will be closed between 7pm and midnight.
The road closure will also be in effect between 7pm and midnight tomorrow.
Alternative routes for traffic will be signposted and local access will be maintained.
