St Nicholas' Collegiate Church in the city is to mark Heritage week with a public celebration this Saturday
The aim is to give people a taste of medieval life with demonstrations of calligraphy, dancing, food and weaving from the era
There will also be guided tours of the church, the construction of which begn in 1320
Admission is free and organiser Catherine Moore Temple outlines the activities on offer from 11.30am to 3.30pm
