A Claregalway business has become the first podiatry clinic in Ireland to recieve an Age Friendly Ireland Award.
It recognises efforts made by Foot Health Podiatry clinic to be welcoming, accessible and supportive for older people.
The award was presented this morning by Galway East Fianna Fáil TD Albert Dolan.
Foot Health Podiatry was first opened in 2001, and expanded to Claremorris in 2008.

Owner Karen Fahy says the road to this mornings award started when they carried out a survey with their older clients.
