Galway county and city house prices rising faster than national average

House prices in Galway city and county are rising faster than the national average, according to Daft.ie.

The average price of a semi-detached three-bed home in the city is up 9 percent in the past year - to €434,000.

While in the county, the same property rose by just over ten percent - to €338,000

Nationally house prices rose 3.8 per cent in the year to June, just under half of the 6.8 per cent increase in the same timeframe last year.

The average price for a 3 bed semi in Ireland is now almost 450 thousand euro.
