A new AI programme, developed at University of Galway, which aims to transform concussion recovery has been unveiled.
BrainForecast uses artificial intelligence to predict which patients with mild traumatic brain injury are likely to develop persistent symptoms and need additional support.
The programme was developed during the BioInnovate Ireland programme at the university, and supported by Enterprise Ireland.
