Thousands of music fans are set to flock to Clifden this weekend for the annual 3-day Summer Festival which kicks off this evening at the local Showgrounds.
Country Music stars Nathan Carter and Clodagh Lawlor will be the headline attraction on Sunday night, while Maniac 2000 DJ Mark McCabe and the Young Wolfe Tones are the main acts tomorrow night.
The event starts this evening with Limerick singer Gearoid McCarthy and folk group Some Ones Sons taking to the stage, and local organiser Jimmy Screene says the finishing touches are being made
