A Connemara housing campaign group is handing a letter into the Department of the Gaeltacht in na Forbacha this afternoon.
BANÚ is demanding action to address the worsening housing crisis in the Gaeltacht.
They point to Irish language speakers being pushed out of their own communities, as well as a failure to maintain or build social housing in the region.
A letter for Gaeltacht Minister Dara Calleary will be handed into the Department of the Gaeltacht Head Office in Furbo at mid-day.
Speaking to Galway Talks, Adna Ní Bhraonáin said Government inaction is having a devastating impact on the Irish language.
