A Connemara man has been jailed for four months for making threats against Tanaiste Simon Harris and his family.
49 year old Patrick Grealish of Garraí An Choirce, Lettermullen pleaded guilty to making the online threats in August 2024.
Derrynea District Court heard it would warrant an eight month sentence, but the last four months were suspended.
Simon Harris gave a victim impact statement, saying he did not wish to do so, but Mr. Grealish must understand the severe impact of his actions.

Patrick Grealish has 70 previous conditions and is currently a carer for his elderly mother who has dementia.
