Galway County Council is planning considerable road safety works in Corofin.
They include signage, road markings, traffic calming measures, and resurfacing.
The plans can be viewed on the County Council website at Galway.ie - or at the Tuam Municipal Office.
Members of the public can make submissions until the 5th of September.

Local Fine Gael Councillor Andrew Reddington says local campaigners have done excellent work drawing attention to the issue.
