Local councillor Geraldine Donohue is calling on the Government to expand the CLÁR funding map to the whole of County Galway.
CLÁR is a targeted investment programme which aims to provide funding for small infrastructural projects in rural areas.
The maps sets out the areas included - which are typically those that have experienced significant levels of de-population.
Independent Councillor Donohue says a review of the programme is needed as she feels many areas are wrongly missing out.
