Galway County Council has vowed to keep the pressure on the relevant regulator over poor phone and broadband coverage.
Councillors have long been raising the issue, with Fine Gael Councillor Laurie Harney this week voicing his dissatisfaction with the service and communication of Comreg.
The council have been in contact with the Commission for Communication Regulations, and say they will continue to raise the signal issues with them.
Meanwhile Headford Fine Gael Councillor Andrew Reddington has also raised concerns over the accountability of the likes of Comreg and ESB
