Man appears before court after assault in Mervue yesterday

Galway Bay fm newsroom - A man in his late 20s appeared before Galway District Court last evening, following an alleged assault in the Mervue area early yesterday morning

Following the incident, Gardaí arrested the man and have confirmed he was charged shortly afterwards.

Another man, aged in his 40s, is continuing to receive treatment at UHG following the incident.
