Details announced of Galway Ministers' trips for St.Patrick's Day

Destinations have been announced for Galway's Government Ministers for St. Patrick's Day.

Education Minister and Galway West Fine Gael TD Hildegarde Naughton will be heading to Chile and Argentina.

Her constituency colleague, Independent Junior Minister Noel Grealish will be making his way to New Zealand.

And Independent Junior Minister and Galway East TD Sean Canney has been earmarked to visit Korea and Japan.

It's as more than a third of Cabinet will travel to the US on March 17th in a diplomatic offensive aimed at the American establishment.

Taoiseach Micheál Martin will visit Washington DC and Philadelphia while Ministers will also travel to Boston, New York, Atlanta, Savannah, Chicago, Austin and San Francisco.

Tánaiste Simon Harris will travel to London and Paris, Darragh O'Brien will visit Brazil while Minister Jack Chambers is travelling to Senegal and Nigeria.

Taoiseach Micheál Martin, says he will accept an invitation to the White House, if one comes.
