Dramatic monthly decrease in number of COVID 19 cases at UHG

Galway Bay fm newsroom - There's been a dramatic monthly decrease in the number of COVID 19 cases at UHG.

Nine patients are being treated at the city acute hospital today.

This compares to 50 on April 8th.

The volume of cases has remained stable at Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinasloe with five being treated for Coronavirus, the same figure as last month.

Nationally, University Hospital Limerick has the largest number of COVID patients with 48 being treated there today.
