Galway Bay fm newsroom - The Dyke Road in the city has closed following a collision this morning.
Emergency services are at the scene of the incident, which is understood to involve pedestrians.
It's not yet known if anyone was injured - but Gardai are advising motorists the road will remain closed between the Headford Road Junction and the Black Box theatre for several hours.
