5 million euro has been allocated to Galway to adapt houses for older people and people with disabilities
The County Council is getting 4.3 million euro while the City Council is allocated 1.9 million
Minister and Galway West TD Hildegarde Naughton says the grants have been increased by 26 per cent this year
She says they empower Galway's local authorities to further assist older and disabled individuals in living independently in their own homes.
